oh yeah and Westbury was really good but I will never understand why they want to be in the big band category????  no disrespect because they are just as good as the big bands but they do not have the size or power.  But westbury did a very nice job they are a true MARCHING band.

Westbury is a 5A school, but they get jerked around on band membership because (among other things) the middle school feeders are not sending them to Westbury. Sharpstown gets shafted also and they are corpstyle. A lot of those band kids go elsewhere. Also the zoning on the southwest is stupid. If you live out there you have the option to go to Westside (and their damn near 200 piece band). Westbury is comming up though...
