CORP STYLE VS SHOWSTYLE GET IT ON

so basiclly me and my girlfriend got into a arguement she went to a corpstyle school and says that we as showstyle bands dont care about tone.... even after hearing the clips of both band she still says her "High school" band sounded better than a college showstyle band..... Waltrip High School, Houston Tx Vs Southern University... Get It On

    1st...Remember...we don't have a problem with corpstyle people...they have a problem with showstyle and ANY element of such...

     

    2nd: comparing a college band to a high school band is silly...just is

     

    3rd: maybe find clips of a showstyle band (high school) and a corpstyle band (high school)...playing the same song...THEN compare...

    Also...HISD will NEVER let a showstyle band get as good as the corpstyle bands...Don't believe me? How is Chavez doing? The middle schools that feed Chavez have the BIGGEST middle school bands in the district (possibly)...People know if they get the right direction over there they could be a new Willowridge...But they KNOW that so they do whatever possible to stop it...its not just about bands either....Where I live mostly all the schools have or had magnet /vangaurd programs up to middle school, but the high school didn't even offer a Art class, drama (for a while) Band (which was basically ran by the few students who cared enough)...much less a Magnet/vangaurd program...
