So, Before things get Out of hand with Lutcher and their Talk I come to ask The fellow BandHeads whos Really on Top when it comes to Donaldsonville and Lutcher. Trash talking is Not what we do and its Not kool to Talk all that Noise but be the First band to run out of the Baker BOTB (Lutcher), be followed into the Parking Lot, get called out, Blowed On numerous Times by drum major, drum sec, and entire band, and simply say We dont have time for Yall and continue to Talk trash. After one of the band directors came to us Personally and said "Yall know our Drum Section cant handle Dville drum section, Now why yall wanna do That" (FROM A DIRECTOR) Let me Know What yall think?

Here's my opinion. Both bands have come a long way in the last several years. They are two bands with very different styles. Donaldsonville has a more aggressive attitude which Lutcher is more conservative and laid back. That can easily be identified in the way that they play. I know Mr. Lott personally and I know that he tries to keep a good, clean sound. As far as the Saturday battle of the bands go, both bands had an 'okay' performance. None of them were very spectacular.
One thing about Lutcher band is that their director WILL NOT let them substitute musicianship for entertainment. Parking lot battles is just not their style and in my opinion; pointless. Especially for a band that is half middle school kids. But ah, it is what it is. Shoutout to both bands for continuing to build.
Well Said!!!

One thing about Donaldsonville band is that their staff  WILL NOT let them substitute musicianship for entertainment either, but kno how to combine them both together. Parking lot battles is just not their style pointless(lame excuse, because they have done it b4). Especially for a band that is half middle school kids, Donaldsonville also. Know both programs b4 u speak, Numbers dont lie, better yet score sheets dnt lie

Well I didn't make it to baker Botb and based on the clips all bands went out and gave it their all job well done but I'm pretty cool with a staff member from mckinly and I saw the score sheet and surprisingly dville had the 4th highest score out of 13 bands to that's pretty impressive I think dville is on it's back to how it was in the early 2000's , but I also see alot of potential in Lutcher keep doin what ur doin I enjoy seeing u guys come up . As for the big bands I expected more based on the clips but I see istrouma had much more energy on the field than they did at Lutcher Botb .
