  • BTW I tried writing an original piece with both as just vsti instruments...when I did some things "range-wise" I got a very interesting output. It that was digital...I'm SURE in person would be equally surprising.

      • Extinct? Why? It DOES have it's place. Example..it's not a euphonium. You wouldn't use a hang in place of a cymbal, but a hang has "ambient" effects a cymbal doesn't give and a ctmbal can have bite and resonance a hang won't give.
  • Personally id use both....with different parts.....rich sound with euph....powerful sound with baritones...now...I don't like the look of uprights for a marching band
  • Euph. To me, it sounds better and looks better on the field. Bell fronts belong in the classroom I think.
