House Divided

A lot of times we see the house divided plates with the LSU/Arkansas, Duke/North Carolina, or Ohio St./Michigan from the PWC's. What about the HBCU's? Southern/Grambling, FAMU/BCU, Alabama St./Alabama A&M, TXSU/PV.......How is the typical relationship between family members from rival HBCU's? What about having a boy or girl friend from a rival school. Even better, what about spouses who live together?

    I went to SU, and my mothers family all went to GSU.....guess I was the smart one lol

    well my pops went to TxSU and played in the ocean......alotta my cousins went to PV one is 2 were in the band......I went to uapb.......my pops really doesn't care about a rivalry he just wants to see a good game/show......my pv cousins just bad mouth Txsu....as for the 2 that were in band....one of them is TBS so all we do is talk about frat/soror stuff...and the other is box so we sometimes have the box/krank argument but then we drop it because neither of us will be proven right until the 2 sections meet..because the last time we met the ASTRODOME won that battle...other than that nothing major

    My family is split down the middle. Moms side GSU, Dads side SU. We're cool until the Classic and until GSU plays SU in something. If it's kick ball and it's GSU vs SU, it's on lol. It's war then. My dad is so freaking delusional. Last year he argued me down that SU beat us in the Bayou Classic in 08 and 09, i said dude SU hasn't beat us since 2007, dude went far as to betting me and he looked it up on his phone in my face and was sure about it and had the dookey face and i won an easy $100, his wishful thinking made him shut up about Classic now. His wife is a Grambling Lady and me and her always double team him. lmao

    My wife went to TxSU.  She'll get over it eventually, lol...

     

    My sister went to BCU.  This summer will interesting leading up to the SWAC/MEAC Challenge...

    My dad's side of the family favors TSU.  Even had an uncle (RIP) that was a dean there.  Went to SU and still have to hear it.  And, still winning.

    Well...you know our situation lol and for those who don't, Bentley(the thread starter) and I are a couple.  We tend to get in little heated convos but I always get the upper hand.  As far as family, I'm the first to go to college, much less a HBCU.

    I went to Morehouse, step sis went to CAU, cousin went to MBC but it made for very interesting "conversations"; who had the best homecoming, who's going to win etc...haven't really had those convos wit fam from DSU, SCSU & HU...yet

    My family is all-SU when it comes to HBCU's. But a lot of my cousins went to LSU and UNO.

    I have an uncles that graduated from Alabama St. my mother and aunts went and graduated from AM&N/UAPB! It's no biggie with them!
