Houston Smackdown Battle of the Bands (ROUND 3)

Finally, its finished. The 3rd Round of the Smackdown Battle of the Bands series for this school year will be held:

Friday, May 6, 2011

Barnett Stadium

6800 Fairway.

This event will be a modified floor show battle although we are using a football field. The format gives the band director the option to do a 6-8 minute show that includes "Auxilaries, a ballad, percussion feature, or dance routine. " whatever they feel like doing..

THE EVENT IS FOR ENJOYMENT ONLY and WILL NOT BE JUDGED.

Hosted by: Stephen F. Austin High School.

NOTE: Each pre-sale ticket will result in 80% profit for the school where it is purchased from. Tickets are $10. So each band will get $8 profit per ticket. We hope you all can come out and help support the Houston area programs that work so hard.

Starts at 6pm. Stand action is the second half. 2-3 rounds depending on how many bands come.
