This is so sad.  Our universities must do better with the treatment of our youth students.  Without students our institutions would not exist.

Students at Howard call it "The Treatment."  I remember this one Howard graduate student who wrote about returning to campus from protesting in Ferguson, MO.  She got back ready to begin the new term but was held up by a mistake made  by the Howard Financial Aid office.  Long story short, they called the campus police on her.  Her thing was that she could be in Ferguson raising hell and have no problem with police, but at her school she gets jammed up for demanding that fin aid fix their mistake.

My nephew was accepted there and wants to go but I want him to really think about that decision.
