The Istrouma High Band Program is one of Baton Rouge's up and coming programs musically serving High school students. The mission of the band program, being consistent with the national standards of excellences for young musicians, exercises a broad coverage of music rather than heavy concentration on any single segment.Pros of being apart of the Istrouma High band is; Students develop social skills and musicianship, traveling oppurtunities, exposure to all genres of music, and the ability to perform in crowds of hundreds. Not to mention "BRAND NEW UNIFORMS, AND INSTRUMENTS". Any student in the baton rouge area looking to grow as a musician in a fun and entergetic atmospher please feel free to join the Istrouma band family. ( experience is prefered but not needed )
SUMER BAND CAMP WILL START JUNE 8, 2010 AT 9AM IN THE ISTROUMA HIGH BAND ROOM, ALSO BREAKFAST AND LUNCH WILL BE SURVED.
