Cleve, very true... and for those who do not know, this is Mr Thornton's First yr as Head Band Director if im not mistaken... so with alil more time this band has no where's to go but UP!
Hey as long as I have been involved with bands, Jones was always noted among the sorriest until now. Thornton, you are doing an excellent and everybody is appreciative of what you are accomplishing with your group. You are doing better than a lot of bands plus I respect you for doing it the right way. You are actually teaching your kids, character and discipline as well as music skills.
I see a bright future for Jones if the commuity supports the school.
