Please start dancing again in 2017 and STOP the foolishness! Here are the reasons why I say this:

1. One group of girls kneels down, while another group is dancing, if you are a dance team, you all should be dancing or stay off the field if your routine isn't continuous, STOP the piecemeal crap.

2. Stop ending a routine lying flat on your backs, it looks crazy.

3. If you don't know how to choreograph, stunting and rolling around on the ground should NOT be a substitute.

4. Every squad should have at least one Christmas costume. (Golden Delight send help)

5. When preforming in parades or public events, STOP the stand routines and choreograph short dance routines. Doing stand routines when you are not in the stands look stupid, be creative, not lazy!

6. Be more energetic on the field and stop looking so lazy and stiff. Breathe, look and act like you want to entertain an audience.

7. Remember quality OVER quantity. 15 girls on the field and only 6 knows the routine looks like a side show.

8. Start choreographing to the music again. Every routine should NOT look the same!

9. Improve your song selections, because song selections were horrible this year!

10. If you have a dance-able song selection, dance, that's why you are call a Dance Team!

This routine could also fit the #7 slot

Although the execution was off; one of my favorite routines, choreography wise, would fit into the #1 slot.

LMBO I'm laughing though because how you just gone post this and not come back? LOL I guess he just had to get it off his chest lol

Can we add.. HBCU dancers should stop letting these late "club boys" choreography their stands and field shows.. leave the death drops, duckwalks, and "the Ha" in the clubs.... this shit is old and played and poorly done.

LMAO! Yes for them having a seat...but do you think the stings will ever get back delivering good field shows? The more technical field shows doesn't work for them, imo

She felt that bite deep in her biscuits didn't she?  Now, you say rule the HBCU World?  I don't know about all that, but they can definitely sit at the table.

Lol...Sasha, I am rooting for the stings. If they can give me field shows from Jordan era 2010 or 2009. If the stings can give me Asia stands and Jordan era field shows...The stings will rule the hbcu dance world, lol

I will. But you know the people might eat him up for this.  But I'll put my thoughts of which squads.

1. One group of girls kneels down, while another group is dancing, if you are a dance team, you all should be dancing or stay off the field if your routine isn't continuous, STOP the piecemeal crap.

J-settes are nortorious for this.  So are their little snotty nosed cousins the Satin Dolls.  I always wondered what it was all about, but it isn't bad to me.

2. Stop ending a routine lying flat on your backs, it looks crazy.

J-settes, Satin Dolls, Golden Girls.

3. If you don't know how to choreograph, stunting and rolling around on the ground should NOT be a substitute.

Satin Dolls definitely, and the j-settes for this past season, and those rough chicks from Grambling

4. Every squad should have at least one Christmas costume. (Golden Delight send help)

I don't see the point in them having one.  I think Delight maybe does more high profile Christmas events.  Who wants to wear a Xmas uniform while marching through the hood?

5. When preforming in parades or public events, STOP the stand routines and choreograph short dance routines. Doing stand routines when you are not in the stands look stupid, be creative, not lazy!

Every HBCU squad seems to do a combination of both.  So this applies to all squads.

6. Be more energetic on the field and stop looking so lazy and stiff. Breathe, look and act like you want to entertain an audience.

The sloppy chicks at Grambling.  And Ms. Dahill, my stingettes will be on it next season, don't oven bake my girls.

7. Remember quality OVER quantity. 15 girls on the field and only 6 knows the routine looks like a side show.

Satin Dolls are the only ones I can think of and last year's Motion but they have got it together this season.

8. Start choreographing to the music again. Every routine should NOT look the same!

The only squads I can think of are the settes and the satin dolls, no shade to either.

9. Improve your song selections, because song selections were horrible this year!

As far as dance selections as much as I hate to admit all swac schools with the exception of PVAMU, Alcorn and TxSU need to improve their field songs.  Give these girls something upbeat to tear it up to and something that people know.

10. If you have a dance-able song selection, dance, that's why you are call a Dance Team!

I agree with that.  Don't understand why they sit in the stands idle while the flag lines are bucking them dry.  But most squads have improved this.  One swac squad that only had 20 counts used to be bad about sitting during songs, but I aint gonna start no mess.

And Ray was wrong for posting that video, because it indirectly called out one of the squads that was listed in the initial complaint lol.

Minus the last field show, what was wrong with the field shows the Stings did this yr? I'm just wondering what is "good" if those aren't? lol

Well if Dr. O would let them be great, they would be.  But on the real tip Lisa choreographed all routines under her reign as sponsor and the field shows were simple but clean and well executed.  If they had a choreographer with her vision and style, they'd be eating again.  Believe it or not Bridgette is a phenomenal choreographer and taught Lisa, but Bridgette lets the squad or captain choreograph the routines and as a result theirs no consistency from captain to captain.  The style of fieldshow has changed yearly with each captain.  Their fieldshows this year were good, but the problem was the execution of the choreography and not the choreography itself.  I think they need to really work on timing in that department and slim down on the technical elements until the entire squad is technically sound to perform all move.

The most logical thing you've said jk.  We may have our differences, but the one thing I'll give you is that you're always fair and unbiased with all squads, unlike many and that's real.  I've given you much hell, but you're real.

Can we add walking to the different formations.  It doesnt flow right when you stop dancing to walk to the next formation.  The dolls and Golden Girls are notorious for doing this.  I also hate that the Dancing Dolls run off the field.  It looks so high school to me.  How you going to enter the field with elegance but exit running like you about to get a spanking from your parents.

Settes throw stands in parades plenty.  I don't see the problem with this tbh....from any squad.  I mean if the band has reached a standstill why not throw stands?  People just have to find a reason to complain.

don't attack me for saying this but almost every school in the swac throws some stands during parades  with the exception of the settes I think.  And as much as it pains me to say it I think Orchesis is the only swac dancel-ine to have a Christmas like uniform (at least the red trench coats and Santa hats).  I honestly don't mind a few counts during a parade when the band is idle from movement.  And as far as the Christmas uniforms, I can see why many don't have them. They only perform in like 2 parades at the most.

Can We add the SetteS with the Mimi Bobeck makeup. The 3 different color eye shadow doesn't make them look cute and it makes them look unprofessional. How about getting makeup that goes with your skin tone. Oh I forgot can the SetteS actually choreograph moves that goes with the music instead of the heavy stunts and rolling on the ground.Rolling on the ground isn't classy for women and it makes them look Vulgar.

I'm speaking of when they're in motion and not idle during the parade.  My apologies for not clarifying that.  Also is it me, or does the first half homecoming uniform design for the settes resemble the first uniform in these clips in relation to the cuts of it?
