Kicking off with Queen City Battle of the Bands on Saturday, August 29th, 2015

Here are the invited bands participating:

North Carolina A&T University
Elizabeth City State University
North Carolina Central University
Shaw University
Alabama A&M University
Bethune-Cookman University
Miles College (Recently added)

This will be interesting...I will be in attendance!!!

Can't wait to see aamu but also am interested in bcu. We know what the other bands will do but aamu and bcu will draw the crowd

SCSU and WSSU were originally scheduled to take part in this battle as they did last year, but there is another BOTB event happening that same day in Greenville, SC (Battle for the Crown BOTB) which includes SCSU, WSSU, NCAT, Benedict, and Talladega. NCAT looks like the only band of the group who will be at both events.

It wouldn't surprise me if talladega tried to roll up from Greenville and play in this one as well. But it will be intriguing. Hopefully the film crews will come out.

Just seen the advertisement for it as well and they are saying there will also be an additional stands battle..... interesting given the bands.
