R.I.P. to Mr. Carnell Knighten

I painfully recieved word and confirmation that former Southern Univeristy and South Carolina State University assistant Director and Arranger Carnell Knighten has passed away. Please keep the SU, SCSU and Knighten family in your prayers.

Mr.Knighten was the greatest!!He came to SU my crab year..He will truely be missed.Knighten wrote some of the classics that made SU the powerhouse of HBCU bands.R.I.P. Carnell Knighten..

R.I.P. Mr. Knighten. It's a sad day in the JukeBox World. Mr. Knighten will be truly missed but, his legacy and music will for ever live in the band world. R.I. P. Mr. Knighten.
