should there be body cuts for j sette

everyone knows the process of the j sette try outs but a controversial part is the body while in the forum for the j settes website say that there is no required weight or size it is clearly obvious that there is, Now i know a 300 pound girl will not be able to do all of that. but i say if a girl who is a little thickums can dance and  can fit a uniform then they should be able to try out its also unfair that they cut them before seeing what they came there to do DANCE there have been many girls cut from BC that could dance circles around some girls on the squad now so what do y'all think is it fair

  • because it would be more discriminatory to post the weight and body classifications in the requirements. some folks are hurt by truth, they are also bound to sue when they feel discriminated against. you're right, it's obvious if one comes to dance, they should be fit enough to look the part. because if not they'll get cut,

they all try out assuming they have a chance when in truth they just won't make the cut.
Most hype about how many people tried out doesn't matter.  Especially  if it's already set in stone that many won't make it because of their weight,  The other obvious majority doesn't make it because they lack skill.

  • sadly, truth is, we will never see a real dance line with a 300lb female regardless how well she can dance, flip, split, etc. however, the band would put her on the exhibition dance team and/or feature her for a show in a heartbeat.

  • YES !!!   Cut the whole FAT TEAM !!!!
