Summer Sheddin' for High School Bandheads!

Breath Control : Y'all that's why they're called woodWINDS & brassWINDS!

Technique: ascending & descending 3rds & 4ths,

lips slurs for brass,

alternate fingering sequences and articulation for winds.

Rhythmic Patterns (learn to actually count through them).

Brass players: Download a FREE copy of the Arban/Schlossberg/Remington for your instrument.

Woodwinds: download the Klose for c-nets;

the Universal Method for saxes.

You could literally teach kids how to play their horn from the information i've read so far on both of these websites. Method Books, Special Studies Books, How to run your section, and basic music theory and concept note..... both website will definately be in my bookmarks
