The Writer's Block (II)

Hey guys. If you haven't read my first post, please go an check it out here: http://www.bandhead.org/forum/topics/the-writers-block?xg_source=activity
Last night (June 30th), the staff of Block Band had a short group conference. Prune and George talked a bit about our plans to help get Block Band's name out there with some really good ideas. Honestly, I've been a part of groups before who've had ideas that had goals that were unachievable and goals that were just downright dumb, but George and Prune's ideas seem really achievable and that is really encouraging to me personally, as I am still an undergraduate student who is afraid of daunting tasks, haha. The one topic that really stuck with me after the meeting was Prune's talks about "spiffs." Basically, he stressed the importance of each individual getting their things done right and on time because if most of the staff got there things done on time and one person messes up, that will cause the whole group to be pulled back.

Even though Prune and George "got down to business" when the meeting started, they still managed to create a light and humorous atmosphere while still taking care of business. Makes me feel confident to be working under that kind of management.
