  • from what i heard in front of the DASB.  collectively had a powerful sound. together most of the time. sections needing improvement being trumpets and tubas even though trumpets had thier moment or two.  credit to the mellophones and trombones for having a big sound. btones we expected average....

  • I glad to hear that we was ok
  • im still upset i was not able to make in time... so i didnt see anything... I only herd HUMB got the W...

  • I can honestly say that this is a start of a new rivalry for HUMB Dallas did good for their size and had a powerful sound, I can see both Bands doing damage to the rest of these Summer Bands... From what I've seen on clips and and seeing the two Texas Bands in person, I would rank the two as the best sounding alumni Bands so far, and I'm pretty sure N.O. May be apart of that number as well. As far as HUMB is concerned..... #WOOOOOSH!

    Cnt wait for Dallas to get to HUMB size.. Texas will have a deadly lethal duo running through these Alumni Bands.
  • Anybody got some video uploads? #DMAB. Cymbal player{the little 1}
  • Dallas are newbies and they asked to battle us. They did good for their first time out and I'm looking foward to the future. Texas breeds musicians and this Saturday was proof!!

  • anybody have clips??

  • somebody upload vid please i wanted to make it to this but was too late.

  • Well from on my side (DMAB), I observed a few things... Firstly, props to the Humb baritones who were consistent the whole battle... Trumpets need more practice playing as a section.. They could've have been way more powerful if they played phrases and quit waiting on a certain note... Everyone else was decent...
  • Dallas Trumpets could use work too. They were going for note that they had no bussiness going for and they really weren't together as a section either. Just saying
