Man detroit marchingbands use to be blowinggggg and sounding good....what ever happen to the northern bands...We had the smaller bands but our bands was some of best bands.

i think the reason they caught peoples eyes was because they were small and had a big sound(loud and in high octaves)...they really weren't that clean, but as the kids say nowadays...they was blowin
Detroit is closing a lot of schools on a yearly basis. I know Northern High School closed down a few years ago along with 30 other schools. Some real serious problems going on in Detroit.
yup I went to Detroit in either 06 or 07 and went to the church by northern high and it was closed down. I was like wdf...in 02 both osborn and northern came to pb homecoming and they both shut it down....both small programs with a punch hate to see em in this state.
