Where are the runs?

We often like to get caught up in who's the loudest, or who's the cleanest(which is a good thing), but where are the technical pieces that display arranging skills and playing ability?

Post clips of your school, or some of your favorite arrangements, that display dexterity skills,  and/or double/tripple tonguing!

Hopefully with the new words in bold there won't be any confusion for the bands who only play runs written by John Phillip Sousa and company.

  • There are a couple other songs that are on the net that have runs in them but the clips are to long.. Neck has runs, Skin I'm In etc. Nothing on You has a 2 measure trumpet run but a good clips isn't up to really hear it clearly. Many songs that Grambling plays have runs but majority are in the woodwind sections. Boogie Wonderland has runs for days. I wish Grambling would pull Caribbean Queen back out, the intro has some nice runs. Haven't payed it since 2005. Can't Let Go by Earth, Wind & Fire that just got took off the field as the drill has runs in it.
  • It amazing how topics about "Power" get to 5 pages in a matter of minutes......

    But something about technique....smh

    Lost cause!
