LION FEVER DAY at UAPB!

Lion Fever Day will be held on the campus of The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff on April 12, 2013.
Interested band students wishing to audition to become a member of the Band can audition on that day. Also, Ladies interested in becoming a member of our flag ling can also audition that same day. Ladies interested in becoming a Golden Girl dancer, their audition will be May 3rd & 4th.


All Woodwinds and Brass
Play all 12 major scales (2 octaves) where possible
Some minor scales
A chromatic scale (starting on your lowest pitch and play two octaves).
A prepared piece (all region/all state/all city audition music or an etude).
Percussion
Know all 40 standard rudiments (snare drum)
Play all 12 major scales (2 octaves) on a mallet instrument (marimba, xylophone or bells)
Some minor scales
A chromatic scale (either C or F 2 octaves)
A snare solo
A mallet solo
A timpani solo (optional)
