Welcome to Bandhead. I really hope that you prepare yourself what for what this site has and brings. Just know that there are positive and negative things about this site. But as long as you stay true to who you are and dont let the negative things people say affect you, you will be just fine. A lot of people on here believe that you are one of "the most technical trained captain they've ever seen." So keep doing what you are doing and have a great and wonderful rest of the season.

Thank you so much for All of your efforts in contacting my directors and sticking your neck out for SHOWTIME and Ooh La La! I will accept your friend request! I hope to meet you soon, I love you!! Thanks for giving me the ins and outs of the blog. My commenting will probably be slim to none, I just had to thank everyone for the beautiful comments because I was elated to know that my hard work and team is being noticed! Thanks again:)

Welcome to Bandhead.org and thank you for "Being Who You Are."  Sorry for the long message, lol, but I just want to prepare you for the Negative Nancy’s that are going to try and bait you with negative comments. Don't go for it by responding. As far as recording the stand performances please ask Bob Jackson to tape the stands, he is "Showtimes Videographer/Photographer".  I'll follow up with him as well today. Your asst, BD gave me his number because I wanted footage of the halftime show to upload on this site. But the fans/stands want the clips from the stands mostly. Mr. Washington & Mr. Jackson speak very highly of you but they didn't have to convince me, I already did my due diligence before I decided to put my neck out there for Showtime & Ooh La La.

There is a lot of Politics at play in this forum so it's somewhat inappropriate for any HBCU dance-line squad member of any HBCU Dance-line to respond to negative comments about their band program especially the Captain, "Always keep it Positive" and I mean always.

You have to have a surrogate(s) (fans/stans) to answer and chime in for you in this forum or it will get very, very ugly.  Case and point, two very popular discussion threads from last week are ( Stingettes' Telephone Routine & SU Dancing Dolls vs J-settes: The Aftermath). Please read those if you haven't already done so. Never once did Fran (14K Captain), Ashley (Stingettes Captain), Searea (Dancing Dolls Captain) or Charlotte (J-sette Captain) respond to comments negative or positive, again it's considered inappropriate. Had any one of them chimed in on any Discussion, Bandheads would have eaten them alive for it, it’s considered inappropriate, that's just the politics of it.

In this forum you have to have surrogates, one who is willing and capable of dealing with Bandheads; because they can be very vicious when they are Repping their favorite programs especially if they are Alumnus and marched for the band.  When I got up this morning and saw that you chimed in it made me feel like all my efforts are not in vain.

The reason why I've been corresponding on Facebook with some of your family members and friends is quite clear. I needed to get the word out that "Showtime & "Ooh La La" is not being celebrated in this forum like they should, and to start to build a network to get the word out about Showtime & Ooh La La, the first HBCU is not being celebrated to me that not right. After all we are talking about Howard University. If any HBCU should be celebrated is should be Howard. Also I'm trying to clean this forum up for the betterment of everything Band & Auxiliary, and it’s starting to work.  Please accept my Friend request on Facebook, I would like to correspond with you from time to time concerning content for this blog.  It would be very helpful, reason being; you as a captain need to fly under the radar because the minute you login Bandheads can tell by the box in the lower right hand corner of this window that says "Members Online" click on in to see what I'm talking about.  Bandheads are very aware of who is chiming in, always.  I'll touch base with the Mr. Washington today to follow-up with him on some of the thing we spoke about in our last conversation a few weeks ago. Everyone is ro
