I am a proud soon to be FATHER and Professional Clarinetist, with a strong emphasis in Classical Repertoire as well as the implementation Fundamental of Music. I also have a passion and appreciation for Marching Band music and pageantry, displaying many music genres and eras. I'm married to a Euphonium Player, (my motivator and clinician, whom gives me the most musical criticism I've experienced on a daily basis).

MIDDLE SCHOOL (Edward Livingston Middle School, New Orleans, LA) - Mr. Daryl Dickerson, Band Director - I was Clarinet Section Leader for Marching and Concert Bands & BAND CAPTAIN '93, Jazz Solo during Concert Band (Take the “A” Train). I've participated in New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (New Orleans, LA) in addition to being a participant in Southern University of New Orleans Jazz Band, under the Direction of Renowned Saxophonist, Mr. Edward "Kidd" Jordan and Mr. Blouin (New Orleans, LA, Percussionist & St. Augustine High School Alumni). I've also participated in Jazz Workshops and Clinics, held within the New Orleans Area (while accepted into St. Augustine, McDonough #35, New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), and Benjamin Franklin College Preparatory Schools).
HIGH SCHOOL - (Sarah T. Reed Senior High School, New Orleans, LA) – Band Directors – the late Mr. Michael Dupard (Founder and Grambling State University Master's of Music Recipient, Trombonist), Mr. Louis Ford (Head/Director of Bands), Mr. Tamill Acker (Interim Head/Director of Bands), Mr. Sammie May (Asst. Director/Head Arranger), Mr. Eddie Vanison (Director of Percussion), Mr. Wilbert Rawlins (Head/Director of Bands). I was Clarinet Section Leader, Overall Woodwind Section Captain, and Band Captain - Marching and Concert Bands, Featured Soloist, playing “Flight of the Bumblebee 1996 & 1997” (Sarah T. Reed High School during the Annual Spring Concert). I've had Clarinet lessons, studying under Mr. Allan Kolsky, former Professor of Clarinet at University of New Orleans & the late Mr. Alvin Batiste (LMEA Solo and Ensemble adjudicator and former Professor of Clarinet at Southern University and A&M College) during the Spring and Summer Seasons of 1997. I've also earned several LMEA Solo and Ensemble awards, ALL resulting in Superior Ratings. I've been qualified and offered scholarships from several Colleges and Universities, while ranked in the upper 10 percentile of my graduating class of 1997!!!!! Finally, my high school acknowledgments resulted in me achieving and holding the titles of “Most Likely to Succeed” and “Most Talented”, voted by the Sarah T. Reed Senior High School Class of 1997****.
COLLEGE – (University of New Orleans, New Orleans, LA & Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, Tallahassee, FL) I've been active in Music Ensembles while attending the University of New Orleans: Wind Ensemble, Under the Direction/Baton of Conductor of Wind Ensemble, Dr. Richard Dugger and Applied Studies Professor of Clarinet, Mr. Allan Kolsky, Current Principal/Solo Clarinetist for the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra – SSO). While studying at @ FAMU - Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, I participated in the Symphonic & Marching Bands (I was appointed Freshman Section Leader - Clarinets). I am truly honored to have been under the Direction/Batons of Dr. William P. Foster, Dr. Julian E. White, now Dr. Shelby R. Chipman and Applied Studies Professor of Clarinet, the late Mr. Wallace Clark.
CURRENTLY – I'm continuing pursuit of music again on Clarinet after 11 years without playing one. I've started playing my instrument as of early as 2010. Since then, I've also been taking advantage of balancing my faith, being an honorable husband, studying/indulging in different aspects of music, striving to achieve higher education, and motivating others to embrace and share their gift and talents with the world!
