"don't change the format...just let the bands play a few songs from their book. the crowd can still judge and band members would get the chance to "crank-up".

"No, because of the nature and how different HBCU bands are it would be hard to judge. Just think of the two extremes, FAMU and SU. It would be extremely hard to judges these two bands in a competition because of how different the two bands…"
