I am just now getting back to you. I haven't checked my page in a while. I seen you left me a comment about any tips. Well, the only tip I can give you is to make sure you listen to your band director and stay disciplined. Focus on making sure on how play the bass drum without strecthing your arms too far. After ending a song, make sure your hands are near the bass drum. That is what I remember from playing in High School, it's ben a while though.
