Aight, so one of my ppl on the inside got me some fresh info the other day. Check this cuz it aint cold hard facts yet but it seems to add up into the second coming in Morris Brown's old spot......Anyways it's supposed to be a BOTBs, Sunday Sept. 6th, in Atlanta, which is the day after opening play, during labor day weekend, just as the Hall of Fame did last year. Some of the band names that have been thrown into the pot are Gram, SU, AAMU, heard possibly FAMU and some others, like I said it ain't solid but it does look like the 2nd annual is definitely a possibility.....Your thoughts and/or further info on the matter?

Might be true, we will be coming through Atlanta back from Orlando on that Monday so we might be there! If the money is right and the weather, Hurricane season seems to get intense right in late August Early Sept!
they should definitely keep this up....
to me this is alot better than the Honda because of the availability and the atmosphere.....plus its at MBC stadium, and im not sure if any of the profits go to MBC or not, but if so, it would be good to get the school outta all that d@mn debt....
If SU and Gram had come this past year....that woulda been the absolute BEST thing to happen to ATL
but them, AAMU....

A&M to me is not strong enough to be in that kind of BOTB. Now a good battle is between SU and NSU. Personally I think They should add TxSU, UAPB, or PVAM. JSU and AlaSu had there turn last year and did an amazing job. To me GSU is okay but they can't last long to me. I guess FAMU can stay. Put in DSU (Delaware State) they can bring; haven't seen them in a while but they got heart. I just want to NSU and SU go head to head.
NSU (or, anyone else for that matter) don't wanna see an SU that early...ask FAMn and Bcu. SU's repetoire is massive for a "fresh out of band camp" band. And, a field show, while a lil immuture for that week, will still be excecuted to a "T". Just check out SU's first games the last few seasons and how unprepared their opponents were compared to the "S".
Once again...another event that SU is made for. If SU comes...it'll turn into an SU production.
lol!! I hope GSU shows as well as SU & Ala St! Lets see what GSU can do with Ala St.& SU in the same stadium! It should be pretty exposing!! And i guess you can start hoping that Ala St. is no better than they was this past HofFame BOTB, because even this past years clips are too much for anything GSU has coming! And this is before i can even hear what yall are going to be about...lol!!, but we'll see!!
How do these bands get selected? I agree with Some of what some of you guys had to say, i didnt even know that mbc stadium was that big but yes to the botb and i think they should add bands that did not get selected to the honda and put them in it. Of course that means Gsu and Su will always be there.
You don't know what GSU is capable of! So stop the speculating! 09 band camps haven't even started and stupid comments already arising lol! I know we would give a fire azz field show and if we come to a BOTB's like that we would be ready in the stands!

To much for what? HAHAHAHA! Man please you could have kept that bullsh_t! LMAO! I'm not worried about Bama State from the clips i saw from this previous year and from what i saw in person in 07! All our band directors will try to do is make sure we sound good and full, just blowing all crazy is not our style bruh, if we keep going in the direction we are, i'm not worried a bit!

umm this thread is basically pointless all in all the battle of bands last year 3 bands didnt even show up. And dont nobody know who gon do what this season and bama st hasnt been to gram since 2002 so why is gram even coming out their mouth and that jordan dude why you even in here posting???? Every time gsu came to bama st they will tell you gsu did a great job and pulled out a greatt halftime show!!! All in all hall of fame may happen may not who ever goes they go, but i thnk its dumb to have it the same day or after the 1st game too hetic and gram vs scsu is that sunday same day of soo possibly yes and no.
