Alcorn GG dancing style
Here a sample of GG dancing style which some people think they copy J settes but this show the big difference between the two! This is the same style GG used past down from GG in the past!

Nomatter how yu go bck to the past their 2012 line has thrown remixed counts of the jsettes new counts from 2009-2011 and prev years old counts! As far as the field i dnt watch their performances so i cnt comment on that

Dnt kno what ur question "do they look the same?" referring to! But look at 2012 soul bowl of both squads the stand and yu will c the reixed jsettes counts that they threw! There renowned style as some call it is a mixture of their old counts, jsettes counts and satin dolls counts! Too me thats not their style if they jackin to make a style from others material! I kno there are potential dancers on the line but they need a fresher sponsor that wont let them sellout wit used material!

All the years I march and seen many other bands use everybody or try someone else moves, dance moves or whatever, no squad own a move or dance moves or style just like a band play a song no one band owns a song or music. All bands or squads uses other band or squad moves and modifty them to their way of doing them. Everybody got their own style or ways they perform a show. Just because you see a some moves like other squads do not mean they are sellout, if they can perform a routine clean,with energy and precision thats what a squad leader , squad director or sponser should look for in a routine. Don't get me wrong GG's has been terrible for a number of years because of lack of support from the school and alumni but give Dr. Murray time to find not only a squad director or sponser but also bringing back some of the Old GG Alumni to teach them!

All Alcornites know this but jsu thinks everything must try to look like them. Everyone knows that the 'oowaup, oowaup' chant that they do at the beginning of 'We came to play' is something they took from Alcorn. Jsu has nothing in their school that goes with that chant & the only school that does that chant is Alcorn...in our fight song 'Cherokee' & in 'Super Soul'. but u don't hear us always talking about how Jackson St. copied & stole our chant...on a song they play every game.
