  • clean, quite simple and cute but still not a fan yet.  They moves in the stands (sometimes field) are too on the stripperish/sexual side ...  I hope they know a little girls look up to them.

  • State just went to Indiana the week before or so I knew they were not going to Mississippi.  They have to space out their travel or it will be very expensive.  Plus this wasn't a big game, everybody knew the football team was gonna lose at Alcorn and they did ... hardly any State fans were at the game.

I wish Alabama State's band had been able to make the trip like I wish AAMU's band had traveled to Southern last year.  Alcorn Golden Girls vs Stingettes would have been good like Golden Girls vs 14K.

I always thought that SWAC bands were always able to at least travel to an adjoining state.  AAMU usually always goes to Baton Rougue though.

  • Miss Olivia is eating in them stands, honestly I will give it to the GGs they have been consistent in these past few 3 yrs. They know what works for them and what doesn't.

  • Only a few squads are guilty of sometimes being too sexual in their counts, my beloved Motions are part of that group but they are not that bad right now.  Teams that do a lot of bucking get that reputation, bucking can many times come across as unladylike and just too x-rated ... but the Motion bucking era has slowed down a lot but it's still heavy with the GGs and Prancing Jsettes.

Actually Texas Southern old president made the Motion stop bucking b/c he said it was inappropriate and he was right.  They represent the school being part of the band and bucking is a bit x-rated ... is what it is.

Hell, its more than them that dance this way....to be real most or all moves done by HBCU dancelines can be considered such. Yrs, they are quite aware others look up to them hence the reason several young ladies took photos with them Saturday. They did their job fan or not several others love them.br/>

  • Night and day from previous years. I like the fact that they don't look like DDFL like in the past. But at the same time it was boring & not exciting.
Maybe if the dance wasn't so long then it could've been better. But it seemed like they just kept whipping their hair back and forth. Getting on the ground. Splitting. And whipping their hair. Over and over for 4 minutes seems like.

I'm torn. No DD4L choreography and I get a cleaner snooz fest. But if their sponsor like it then I love it ;)
    Is that a new uniform?
  • Yes Golden Girls,I am so proud of you all! Aside from the Divas, one of the best/cleanest routines so far. Great start, I can't wait until they go up against the Settes. Good Job GG's!

  • It's a uniform from last year.
