  • hmmm....
that 12 hour drive to Southern this past year.....played over at Scotlandville High School and McKinley High School....then got to play Southern......fun trip.

but practicing out there on McKinley's muddy field in the cold wasn't fun lol
  • I do not play in a band but I road on a bus with a group before and there was never a dull moment on the bus!
  • I would have to say that trip to Howard. Thats a long bus ride from houston to washington, dc then i almost got left. That battle in front of howard's bandroom was a classic. Also that chicago classic against UAPB was memorable as well. I remember we flew private jet to chicago and I met Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.
  • So many to name but the best trip to me was the Rose Bowl trip in 06. We stayed the entire week, nice weather, treated like kings, stayed in Hollywood City, was given cash money to spend on a daily bases and we were all over the city, i don't think i slept much on that trip. I almost got left every morning because i slept over my aunt/cousins every night in Long Beach and caught the train every morning to get back to the hotel. LMAO
  • dont you mean 07? technically speaking.

  • 1. Going to Nashville(2008) during the week that Gustav hit, I think I was just happy to get away from 100 degree heat with no air and limited food supply after a week of no electricity and the mayor's 6:00 curfew. It was different playing in a high school-like gym to battle TNSU. The practice at Vanderbilt was cool too. Walking on their campus just made you feel rich.

    2. Chicago(2007)only because I got to fly to a region that I never visited before.
  • Yall don't get out much huh lol
