Last year su killed grambling with back to back power rap tunes while grambling just hit them with oldies and gospel tunes...how do you think its going to play out this year?

the deciding factor in the BC BOTB is never power (cuz Gram will NEVER be louder than SU)...but it all comes down to the Book, and the showmanship of it...last year it wasnt that SU was so incredible, they just had a much better book.
we shot ourselves in the foot with song selection last year, so hopefully this year we'll have N.O Groovin wit a capitol G ;)
For the dumb and the slow! The Bayou Classic isn't like any other battle of the bands on the face of the earth, it's strictly based off song selection. Some you hate and ride each others nutts daily to realize how the BOTB's is set up and lack any cognitive skills to grasp it! 07 we had a good song selection, 08 the song selection sucked but the band sounded good and 09, even though we have a young band, these past weeks, improvements have been made and its getting better, with 2 more weeks of preparation for the Classic there is no doubt that we won't be ready but keep the hate and negative coming, that means we are on your minds!
Ugh...I hate that I have to miss the classic (and those hand grenades!) this year. Personally I think GSU gets a bad wrap...I don't care for some of their arrangements, and their song selection was kinda blah last year, but they have a pretty good sound, even last year. I still prefer SU, but GSU is a pretty decent band too. It's gonna be a good showing regardless
