This topic is about which band is the most NOTORIOUS. Not about who's the best, who the biggest, but who is the most widely known? And discuss about what makes them that way.

Louisiana- St. Aug & Grambling
Georgia- Southwest Dekalb &Morris Brown
Florida- FAMU & highschool?
Texas- TxSU & Willowridge
Michigan - Osorn?
South Carolina -SC State & highschool?
VA- NSU  % highschool?
DC- Howard
Mississippi - JSU & Greenville Weston?
Tennessee- TSU

    Louisiana(High School)- ST AUG Hands down and its because of their history of Great Bands.

    South Carolina-None

    Early 90's-2000
    You couldn't have a BOTB in South Carolina without having Keenan,Eau Claire and Burke High.Those were the most notorious bands back then.

    Burke has an ego problem lol they don't any competition in South Carolina.Eau Claire is in the rebuilding stage.WJ Keenan is doing alright but they seem to be leaning towards corp style now.

    If we're talking about college bands it's undisputedly Grambling, we are more popular than any HBCU band so it's a given who's the most widely known from Louisiana, even though the band is no where at the level that it used to be but i'm sure it won't be down forever. The band is widely known because of the many decades the band produced GREAT products, opened doors for many bands, traveled the world etc. People may hate and bash on Grambling but they can't take away the history and what Grambling has done for HBCU bands. If we are referring high school bands like i stated earlier it's St AUG. Many know about them because they have a rich history and produced many great bands.
