honestly i dont think that the voting even matters they look at who will bring in the crowd!! and money. Tuskegee havent missed a honda yet but they bring in a great crowd, they alumni and crowd loves their bands!! FAMU owns GA so they will get support!! SU is a popular band and new to the list and did a great showing in 05 in GA so they will get much LOVE!! PVU showed owt in 04 all they need is a new wow factor and they will be great. CLArk is in GA so they of course will get supported. Albany did good when they went NCCU i just have to see the show when they go. Other than that i think the line up is good all the bands have a different style and if im not mistaken albany's band director is from Southern if im not correct.( CORRECT ME IF IM NOT) so im thinkin he will do a great showing also at honda. I also heard morris brown suppose to be doing a show there also. oh VSU they dont sound bad at all and field shows are ok.

Southern, Prairie View A&M, and FAMU are always good to see...but the other bands always get picked they need a more diverse selection....new bands (Miles, Howard, Langston, Tennessee State, Alcorn, Winston Salem, Texas College and ETC.) my opinion.....

If they would had picked NSU, alot of people woould had came to see this just because this could be the ONLY chance of seeing NSU and SU at the same place.......... people dont think man.. :-(
I'm not a big fan of this line up (even with my school being in the line up). They had the opportunity to mix this however they pleased, and this is the best they could come up with?
Correct me if I'm wrong...but the ONLY newcomer is SU right? I'm not saying that they should have bought in more newcomers, cause folks would be crying about that as well. They should have used one or two more prominent bands in place of the not-so-prominent bands...cause it's clear that this lineup isn't about giving new bands exposure.
It's still gonna sell though, whether the bandheads like it or not.
REMEMBER YALL THESE ARE FIELD SHOWS MANY BANDS WHO ARE GREAT IN THE STANDS DO NOT PUT ON GOOD FIELD SHOWS AND THIS SHOW CASE IS BASED ON FIELD!!! VSU PVU SU FAMU TUSKEGEE PUTS ON ENTERTAINING SHOWS AND WILL BRING A GOOD CROWD ITS BEEN 50k THE LAST FEW YEARS NO MATTER WHAT THE LINE UP IS JUST GIVE PROPS TO THE BANDS WHO ARE GOING!!! EVEN WHEN THE LIST HAD A GREAT LINE UP FOLKS STILL COMPLAINED LOL

good thing its only 8 this year because it would be torture having to watch 10 bands
