I would suggest making new threads per subject matter.

The reason I'm saying this is because when new development arise. it' would be confusing to people to have to look through 60 pages of commentary to find "the next subject".  or what ever it is that they may be looking for, it also gives the illusion that the site has no new activit  because the threads back dated. 

On the old Marchingsport site, we used to close threads after 30 pages of comments. as well as if the thread was just way too old...

  • I think you should delete threads that are up for more than 2 weeks and have less than 20 comments  or threads where only one person is posting.. # sir-spam-a-lot

  • It's a mess. I gave up on that jsette thread.
    Just a bunch folks posting what they heard or posting mess about the jsettes from 100 years ago when they was in the band. Too much going on.
