A Bay St. Louis man has been charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of a former dance team captain with the Southern Miss Dixie Darlings and her boyfriend.
Myrick Laneaux, 26, made an initial appearance Wednesday. His bond was set at $1 million for each murder count.
Kristina Quintini, 28, and Norris Demetrius Mueller, 29, were found dead Saturday night. Quintini died of multiple gunshot wounds while Mueller died of a single gunshot wound to his head. The couple’s six-month-old daughter, Mia, was shot in the shoulder but is recovering.

Most people don't know, that Isaac Greggs got the idea for the Dancing Dolls after seeing the Dixie Darlings, which was the first dance team to dance without a baton. The Dancing Dolls kick line came from the Dixie Darlings.
