I think the reason we havent seen pat jaz and dreem because they probably miss a day in band camp and crowley doesn't play that.. You see when tierra was captain dom missed the first two games because she missed camp..
Probably. I don't want this come off as shady, but I think the fact that Jaz and Pat are sitting out is giving Kristen her shine lol. So many people are commenting on her now as opposed to last season. Hopefully she can continue to stand out once they return.

It was just way too cute. Not sure if it was nerves or fatigue, but she seemed extremely timid. She didn't buck down the way I thought she would, even on the songs that were perfect for it (The Show, Big Ballin). She wasn't ready for those arm counts AT ALL, on either song. Count choice was good (not including the two songs mentioned previously) but still left me wanting more.
Even on Get Ready, her march is pretty with a dash of power..... Dom and Ketta had a march that was powerful with a dash of pretty. I can't take it. Even Morgan (Jackson)'s marching was easier to swallow than this.
But the rest of the vets are on point. Cip gave us her standard early-season "I'm annoyed" demeanor, lol. Kristen is coming out of her shell in this second year, looking forward to watching her grow. Kelsey's back like she never left, Jewell looks good also. Cam was giving me '14 Cam this performance (this is neither a compliment nor an insult). Deja didn't stand out as being bad so I GUESS that's a good thing?? And Brie looked good back there from what I could tell.
Couldn't really get into the chocolate crab the way I wanted to b/c of the angles, but I must say this about Kayla: she's got A LOT of work to do on these stands. Hasn't mastered the counts at all, lots of fumbling and missed/botched elements. It's a shame b/c she has that same confidence & style Kristen did her crab year, but that all means nothing if you don't know the counts. I'm assuming that she made the trip b/c she made field cuts, so that's definitely promising & encouraging.
And just a side note (for the Boom)...... that Needed Me arrangement is, for lack of a better term, weird. Something isn't curling all the way over. Hope they can fix that.
Just anxious for the game footage tonight.... that's all I'll say.
Morgan needs to put her shoulders into her March more. And I also think her nerves may have gotten the best of her. I think she did great on Big Ballin and the Show though.
BTW, does anyone remember the order of who lead at the Merge? I'm guessing that's the order they will go in for each game. Morgan went first at the Merge so she lead this. I'm guessing whomever went second at the merge will lead next and so forth.
