LOUISIANA LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE IN NEW ORLEANS, BATON ROUGE, CLINTON-JACKSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone interested in joining the Leadership Band this year should apply now.  We have two centers.  The first center will be in New Orleans and the second center will be in Baton Rouge.  We are trying to incorporate children from different areas of Louisiana that have the DESIRE to perform and represent the state of Louisiana on a National level.  We already have a trip planned in January.  The areas we will concentrate for recruitment for now are: New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Clinton/Jackson.  But all are welcomed to participate.  Separate rehearsals will be held for New Orleans participants and B.R/Clinton-Jackson participants.  

WE are looking to perform with 128 students but want to service 150 musicians this year.

    First practice for Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas is tonight at Lutcher High School.   Tomorrow is the rehearsal for New Orleans and the surrounding parishes at Sophie B. Wright School.
