Name That Tune!

Name a marching band song that is played by a lot of bands( or just a popular marching band song, doesnt have to be played by the masses) but just so happens to not be played by the band in which you march. Is it a song that you would want your band to play?

For example, a lot of bands play "neck" but I don't believe I have ever heard (insert band) play it.

Gangsta B**** is a song i've always wanted ASU to Play but they never have....smh
  • I wouldn't mind seeing Grambilng play Tribute to Bob Marley and Southern play Devil's Gun.
  • Grambling played Tribute in the 80's.   As far songs that other bands play i have always felt they're to many songs in the world for everyone to play the same thing. I hate that crap, never follow. That's one of the qualities that have made the HBCU Bandworld as strong as it once was.
  • i agree, but at the same time it is interesting to hear another band's take on a song that another band plays..2's...

  • I can understand r&b, pop songs, gospel etc but rap songs that a band has been playing for 4 to 12 years, then another band all a sudden begins to play it shows the other band is jocking and infatuated with someone else program. I never got down with the if you can't beat em, join them mentality.
  • *caugh* HATE ME NOW *caugh*
