I'm here for it! Kayla came with it this season, I'm bracing myself for what she does next. I'm sure the field will be a treat for both

I’ve been waiting for this battle for a LONG time. The stands will goto the J-Settes but the field show is a toss up.

1. Field is anyone’s game

2. Stands goes to Settes just because Wells won’t update that book for nothing

3. Overall look is anyone’s game too because 14K was been pretty good when it comes to updating their closet

Im excited for the battle and hopefully the weather is good because we were robbed of 14K vs the Golden Girls.

Sip Bucking vs Florida Jiggling, Boom Kat'n and  hair whips.

1. Field should be interesting for both, 14K is now dancing for a full 30 seconds vs 15 seconds of the past.

2. Stands - I'll give it to the settes for now.  Love 14K but they're sloppy at times in the stands.

3. Overall look - I'll give it to 14K

Band wise in person BCU is loud (imagine if they really let loose and cranked), rich and clear AF.

Jackson is loud and clear, but it goes up and down some seasons.

Great!  Thanks!

That's where the 2018 game was held. They may have to move the game to a larger venue to accommodate BCC and JSU fans. I hope they move the game to Georgia Tech or the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The 2018 MEAC/SWAC Challenge will be played Sunday, Sept. 2 from Georgia State Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The 14th annual event will match the SWAC's Prairie View A&M University with North Carolina Central University from the MEAC.

And it will BE hot as HELL IN HOTLANTA!

The game is official!

The Jackson State Tigers and the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats will play in the 2019 MEAC/SWAC Challenge, it was announced on Monday.

An official date will be determined later, but the game will be played on Labor Day weekend at Georgia State Stadium in Atlanta. The kickoff time is also to be determined, and the game will be televised and/or streamed by the ESPN platform.

Jackson State and Bethune-Cookman have met six times on the gridiron. In their most recent meeting back in 1989, Jackson State defeated Bethune-Cookman 27-7 to extend their lead in the overall series to 4-2.

The MEAC/SWAC Challenge, owned by ESPN Events, is an annual historically black college football game between the Mid-Eastern Conference and the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The contest began in 2005 and has been played 14 times.

Bethune-Cookman, located in Daytona Beach, Florida, has played in the MEAC/SWAC Challenge three times. The Wildcats defeated Prairie View A&M 63-14 in 2011 and beat Alabama State 38-28 in 2012. Their 2016 contest against Alcorn State was canceled just before halftime due to lightning.

In their first and only appearance in the MEAC/SWAC Challenge, Jackson State fell to Hampton 17-13 in 2008.

Bethune-Cookman wrapped up the their 2018 schedule with a 33-19 victory of Florida A&M, which gave the Wildcats a 7-5 record (5-2 MEAC). Jackson State fell to Alcorn State 24-3 in their final game of the season and finished 5-5 overall and 4-3 in SWAC play.
