2 years doesn't mean diddly squat. By two different schools at that. Now i can see if this was a 4 year stretch or something and both schools were running through everyone but that's not the case. It's only temporary. J Cole's nose will not stay clean for long, especially from the things i'm hearing and Pv will have a new staff soon. Someone will scoop him up. PV won last year and they expected to win this year but i knew it was Phluke, a short winning spurt happens to schools who aren't accustomed to it. Louisiana will always be in the thick of things. That's inevitable.

And what is it you've heard about Cole that detractors haven't BEEN saying before he was hired? How did that help Broadway two weeks ago? Tell you what....go school for school..TX vs LA...football starting from highschool 1A and up....*u don't want THAT. People better realize that Bama and Texas schools in the SWAC finally realized were tha heyall they're located and how to at least sneak just above regular SWAC mediocrity...
Didn't say winning is nothing but how is it a take over win PV has one SCG and TXSU is in the hunt for one, nothing is guaranteed in the SCG? That's what i'm saying. It's not a takeover, the SWAC is becoming more balanced that's all that is. The entire West is strong with the exception of SU this year. If one thinks Texas & Bama schools will be in the SCG every year they are simply fools.

Then that's directed at the thread starter. MY point is people from Grambling bringing up tradition...here and anywhere else. Tradition isn't there on Saturday/Thursday...play the game and win. Period. That's how I see it. Same thing with band. Grambling has had some down years...but if they bring it on a Saturday, how does the other band's losss turn into a W because of their "tradition" of being a winner?
Since 1999 Grambling has had winning seasons with the exception of 2006 so we aren't riding off tradition. No other school in the SWAC can say that. Other seems to be the ones riding off of our tradition because we put a productive product on the field year in and year out not many can say that so don't let wins cloud your thinking like most do. Grambling's only down year(s) in football were in the 90's during Eddie Robinson's last years of coaching, not many can say that. We are a football dynasty, it can't be denied. We can't win them all but i guarantee we win most. BTW, the starter of this thread is talking football.

true..football (especially high school) is taken way more serious in alabama n texas.
