Well I havent seen Willoridge in action only at pratice... so im not going ot include them in the list you put up... but with out Willoridge.......being on the list .. for the simple fact that I havent seen them at a game.
1.)WORTHING.... Period,point,blank...... Is the best band on south of side of Houston... They need no explanation.... They sound good and look good what more do ya want.......LOL
2.)WESTBRUY....... Very close to being number one on that side of town.... They have the power and and drilling to hang with Worthing........ They are just not as clean.. Dont get me wrong (WESTBURY) can play....They are just not as clean as the Worthing.. But still to me Westbury and Worthing are (2 out of 4) contenders to be number one in Houston this year.. Keep up the good work.
3.) STERLING....... They get my vote for being the third best.. now they are not the most powerful...or even loud as number 1 or 2 but..... They are very clean and can play in tune...... wich now a days mosts band cant even do...... and very unique feild shows....
4.)MILBY..... This band can be a monster... Its just little things that get in the way. They have tons of energy and there lower brass& mellos trys very hard, but I think in due time they will be up there in the top. Rome wasnt built in a day folks.... and if Milby keeps going in that good direction they will be that beast.. oh yeah feild show are cool too.
5.)MADISON....Okay wow... Well I got a chance to se the Milby and Madison game.. and well... Madison is not what it use to be.... but hey on a good note them boys try to bring da heat.. when they do see a band... They have some baritones with some volume over there, plush there trumpets are okay.. Not the best I've head from them.... but hey it will get the job done for Madiosn and thats all that matters...
6.) YATES.... Okay I have a chance to play yates thewy have a lot of rebuilding to do..... the band is much bigger and has improved much more since last year.....there drum- section is very well put togethere and organized... feild shows chould use some more works.... and I personlay thing they should work and just playing clean.. instead of playing with voulme..... But never the less Yates problem will forever be that they keep switching freaking BD's over there.... I sure (Mr. Willaims) will be there to stay. So yates should be able to hang in about 2 more years.. (MR.Willaims) is a very good teacher....if it wasnt for him Westbury would not even have gotten off the grown......
NOW I have not metioned Willioridge because I have not seen them out side the band room or at a game.... So I will not place them because as we know practice blowing and game blowing are two different things.... now a days.....so if some one has seen them please place them as you see fit.. on the list.......

well if your talking about Worthing they are just fine. They are smaller but very clean and still a force. there marching is greatand they have very high energy on dat sunny side..lol..... Now if your talking about Davis.. We cool we trying to keep doing our best. I dont want to comment on my band, simply because hey I'm the director.. of coures im gonna say we okay.. I guess you gonna have to see for yourself and tell me how we doing. This year im going off of what other folks think of my band. (Bandheads mosty and other BD's) that have nothing to do with the Davis band. So as far as Worthing I personaly think they smahing. I mean hey!! Mr Joseph is one of the few BD's I look up to, so when I wanna really know hows my band progressing I just call him and ask him.......LOL.......But as for us at Davis. I DONT KNOW?????... I THINK WE COOL...... WE COULD ALWAYS BE BETTER.....LMAO
