Wats good fam....look man i feel like me and my band had an excellent season this year however its been liitle problems outside of my control that made the season not as interesting as it could have been.mainly this swac rule non-sense....i feel that alot more feelings would have been hurt if there wasnt a rule on when and when not to play,and i kno alot of other people feel the same way. the fans of the swac come to see the bands....i kno i did, and they arent getting the full affect in just the zero and 5th quarters.....something to fix for the 2010 season i geuss, but how? talk to me

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that you just finished crabbin. Um...the SWAC is the SWAC. If they haven't changed the rules by now with all the phones calls they've been gettin, it's not gonna change. I mean...if you can't get your point across in pre-game, halftime, the 5th, and them lil spots in the game, then somethin is wrong. Don't get me wrong...I hate the SWAC rules as much as the next person, but complainin about it on here isn't gonna cause anything to happen over in the SWAC offices. You wanna let your opinion be known? Call them...write an email or a letter...somethin
A-ha we aint have SWAC rules an that isht was Raw. its just a race issue tho. the white schools do it now we have to. like it helps football team....lol

First off u right i just got thru crabbin and proud of it TrumpFunk all day "TROOTF"....next issue i cant speak 4 other programs but by midseason (4,5,6 game) damn a book we have a novel....and 10 tunes in the pre game 5 songs thru out the game and 10 in the 5th dont cut it. thats not enough to me sorry its just not. we spend 8-10 hours a day at practice and dont play 1/4 of the tunes we practiced. Now in the past it seemed to me that the swac was not as strict as they are now. but who knows i could b wrong.

I feel wut u mean,CB..and these SWAC rules are relatively new.....I feel tha they will be changed if there is a big enough effort put forward.....I respect the "stop complaining" view as an opinion, but I believe that the old swac rules are still very much worth fighting for.im pretty sure that just like us every1 had hella hot material that never made it out of their bandroom....but as an alternative im feelin the fanfare idea

Y'all kill me with this SWAC Rule stuff.....Folks that is the NCAA FOOTBALL RULE. It is in the RULE BOOK. The SWAC IGNORED it until bands stopped being able to police themselves and got stupid with it. Watch ANY college game on TV, and you will see that when a team breaks the huddle, ALL BAND NOISE STOPS until the end of the play.
And if you are spending 8-10 hours a day at band practice, either something is wrong with your director or your band.
im sorry......i couldve sworn that was DEDICATION... but to each his own....every band has different circumstances in which they have to adjust to accordingly......such as 3 straight home games with 3 entirely different shows......that requires PRACTICE,lol

SWAC bands need to learn from them and start running more fanfare instead of trying to play 5 minute long ballads in the middle of the 3rd quarter.
