Who has the best tuba section on the East Coast?
I say VSU, BCC, NSU, and Shaw.
  • Nah man FAMU doesn't even have any good pieces for that large tuba section they just look like horn holders they got some wack jams i mean come on with that many no one can compare in numbers but i bet VSU or NSU Shaw NCAT could stop on yall

  • SHAW VSU NSU BCC NCAT possibly SCSU just dont sound like 32 but they work good in their band not alone lol
  • famu is nowhere near the best tuba line. they have 50 tubas and sound like 12. they are not worth the time. the silver bullets killed them. and dawg team killed them at the honda. thats why they tried to fight jsu. bcuz they claim jsu was playin too loud
  • V-state, Norfolk, BCU ... in that order.

Honorable mention to FAMU for having so many damn tubas...
  • vsu tuba section is really good
  • Yall folks is silly..... FAMU's sousaphones are THE BEST SOUNDING section out there.... Do they play loud..... NO. Do they have an amazingly FAT and RICH tuba sound, YES-in-F*CKING-deed (And, they have low notes, like CRAZY)!!! They sound like 100 cellos. Now, if you want to base it off of volume, and/or aggression, I would give it to BCU.
  • i say nsu all day
  • I could list reasons why famu is better than all of those sections. If you want to hear famu play loud, listen to them play white whales.
