WHY DO PEOPLE JUDGE HOW GOOD "MARCHING"BANDS ARE JUST ON THE STAND BATTLES!?

PESONALLY I CAN'T WATCH ANY BANDS FIELD SHOW FROM BEGINNING TO END WITHOUT GETTING BORED EXCEPT SOUTHERN BECAUSE THERE IS NOT ONE OTHER BAND THAT HAS A MARCH STYLE CLOSE TO THE JAGUARROCK,,OTHER BANDS JUST PRETTY MUCH WALK THROUGH THE WHOLE SHOW UNTIL IT'S TIME TO DANCE,,,REAL TALK!!

    i used to like tenn st famu and jackson and gram in the 80's but they don't put on the same kind of shows that they used to...not even close!!

    TSU'a Marching style is stiff as hell and prevents ur heel from touching the ground 95% of the time..lol .

    Why? Because these days, Marching Bands ain't really hitting on all cylinders at Halftime. The internet exposes every single halftime show performed, and we over analyze each performance to death. After awhile, they lose their flair. So now, the only other thing for us to over analyze are the stand battles. And even now, the bands ain't really hitting on nothing in the stands either. All people care about is how loud your band is or isn't. Technical prowess is laughable...dynamic contrast is almost non-existant...counter-melodies...? PLEASE!!!! All we care about is if our favorite band is beasting or not.
